This is the final week of campaigning before the first round of elections, which will take place next Sunday (October 4). Free election advertising on radio and television ends on Thursday (October 1). TV Globo will host the final debate among the presidential candidates. Flávio Bolsonaro has already confirmed his participation but Lula has not yet done so. Several national and state-level polls are expected to be released.
