In Brasília, the possibility that Daniel Vorcaro may enter into a plea agreement is increasingly being discussed as a real scenario. The decision by Supreme Federal Court (STF) justice and case rapporteur André Mendonça to relax visitation rules for Vorcaro at the federal penitentiary in Brasília has reinforced that perception. Opposition lawmakers have filed a writ of mandamus with the Supreme Court requesting the installation of a joint congressional investigative committee (CPMI) to investigate the Banco Master case. According to the lawmakers, the request for the creation of the CPMI has gathered 281 signatures from deputies and senators, more than the minimum required (198). Lula had announced that he would meet with Trump during the week of March 15. However, due to the war involving Iran, the meeting was postponed, and no new date has been set.
