Justice Nunes Marques, president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), has been selected as the rapporteur for a lawsuit filed by the Workers' Party (PT) against the presidential campaign of Flávio Bolsonaro (PL). During the party convention last Saturday (July 25), the campaign used an artificial intelligence-generated video in which Jair Bolsonaro (PL) endorses his son's presidential bid. Today, the National Social Security Council (CNPS) will meet to consider a potential reduction in the interest rate cap on payroll-deductible loans for INSS retirees. The monthly rate has been capped at 1.85% since March of last year.
