President Lula held another meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. Shortly after the meeting, Trump wrote on social media that the discussion was “very good” and that new meetings between representatives of both countries will be scheduled in the coming months to address bilateral issues. Supreme Federal Court Justice Cármen Lúcia, the rapporteur for the cases challenging the redistribution of oil and natural gas royalties (ADIs 4916, 4917, 4918, 4920, and 5038), issued her opinion yesterday declaring unconstitutional the provisions that established a broad sharing of resources with non-producing states under Law 12.734/12. The Lower House Special Committee discussing the end of the 6x1 work schedule will hear from Finance Ministry's Dario Durigan on Tuesday and Presidential Chief of Staff Office Minister Guilherme Boulos on Wednesday.
